about the foundation

The Marvin Elementary School Foundation is a 501(c)(3) California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation, established in 1995 (Federal Tax ID: 33-0598413).

The specific purpose is to benefit and support the Marvin Elementary School. The primary objectives and purpose are: develop, conduct, and finance existing and future programs and projects designed to benefit the children enrolled at Marvin Elementary School. Within this context, the corporation solicits and seeks financial assistance from the public, organizes and operates fund-raising activities and expends funds for programs and materials that benefit the students of Marvin Elementary School.

All parents of Marvin students can participate in meetings, volunteer, run for office, and vote in elections for Board Members.

Our Mission

The Marvin Elementary School Foundation is a group of parents, teachers, and staff working together to support and enhance the education of every child at Marvin Elementary while empowering them to reach their highest potential.

Our Goals

Provide services and equipment that support a healthy learning environment
Fund programs to enhance the academic and enrichment offerings available to students
Organize events and activities to assure a well-rounded education
Facilitate communication with Marvin parents, teachers, students, and administrators
Promote knowledge in the community about our great school
